Short Description:

High alumina brick is an alumina silicate refractory material, in which alumina content exceeds 55%, and it is calcined from high content alumina raw materials. It has high heat resistance and high temperature resistance at 1770°C and above. High alumina bricks have good slag resistance and are mainly used for masonry of steel-making electric furnaces, glass furnaces, cement rotary furnaces, etc.

Description


High alumina brick is an alumina silicate refractory material, in which alumina content exceeds 55%, and it is calcined from high content alumina raw materials. It has high heat resistance and high temperature resistance at 1770°C and above. High alumina bricks have good slag resistance and are mainly used for masonry of steel-making electric furnaces, glass furnaces, cement rotary furnaces, etc.

Features

1. Refractoriness

High alumina bricks have higher refractoriness than refractory clay bricks and semi-silica bricks, up to 1750-1790C, and belong to high-grade refractory materials.

2. Load softening temperature

Because high alumina has higher alumina content, lower impurity content and lower molten glass body shape, the refractory softening temperature is higher than that of refractory clay bricks. However, because the mullite crystals have not yet formed a network structure, the load softening temperature is lower than that of silica bricks.

3. Slag resistance

High Al2O3 content is high, close to neutral refractory material, can resist acid slag and alkali slag erosion. Because it contains silica, its resistance to alkali slag is lower than that of acid.

1. Steel manufacturing industry: blast furnace, hot blast furnace (furnace), pellet shaft furnace, hot metal ladle, ladle, tundish, heating furnace, soaking furnace, heat treatment furnace, refining furnace, heating furnace, metal stirring furnace, annealing furnace, Cupola, electric arc furnace, induction furnace, AOD furnace, VOD furnace and other technical equipment.

2. Non-ferrous metal industry: smelting furnace, refining furnace, reverberatory furnace, converter.

3. Building materials industry: cement kiln, glass kiln, ceramic kiln, lime kiln, kiln car, tunnel kiln

4. Energy and incineration: coke ovens, ordinary boilers, power, power generation, boilers, circulating fluidized bed boilers, electric furnaces, charcoal burners, garbage incinerators.

5. Other: petrochemical industrial furnace.
