- X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF): This method is suitable for the chemical composition analysis of bauxite. By measuring the fluorescence characteristics of X-rays in the sample, its composition data can be obtained quickly and accurately.

- Wet chemical analysis: After using acid to dissolve the bauxite sample, the main components are quantitatively analyzed by colorimetry, titration, etc. This method is relatively traditional, but it is still effective in some cases.

3. Mechanical property test

The mechanical properties of bauxite are mainly reflected in compressive strength, flexural strength, etc.

- Compressive strength test: The maximum load-bearing capacity of bauxite samples under loading is measured by a compression tester.

- Flexural strength test: The samples are made into standard specimens and tested in a bending tester to obtain the flexural strength of the samples.

The analysis of calcined bauxite test results should be based on the corresponding standards and compared with the indicators of qualified products. For samples that do not meet the standards, the reasons need to be carefully analyzed, including the source of raw materials, sampling process and test methods.
