Calcined Bauxite

Calcined bauxite is one of the principal ore of aluminum. This refractory material contains hydrous aluminum oxides and aluminum hydroxides, formed through the laterization of aluminous rocks in tropical and subtropical areas .It is obtained by calcining (heating)superior grade bauxite at high temperature (from 85OC to 1600C) .this removes moisture thereby increasing the alumina content. compared to an alumina content of about 57%to 58%in raw bauxite, refractory calcine bauxite has an alumina content of 84%to 90%.the heating is carried out in rotary kilns.

The key raw material for Calcined Bauxite is bauxite ore, primarily composed of aluminum oxides, including gibbsite, boehmite, and diaspore, along with varying amounts of impurities. The ore undergoes a calcination process, typically at temperatures exceeding 1300°C, to transform it into bauxiite, concentrating its aluminum oxide content.

The calcination process involves heating bauxite ore to high temperatures in rotary kilns or shaft kilns, causing the removal of moisture and conversion of hydrated aluminum oxides into the non-hydrated, high-alumina structure characteristic of Calcined Bauxite. This technology ensures the desired chemical composition and properties vital for its diverse applications.

Low Thermal Expansion: Its low thermal expansion characteristics contribute to its stability under fluctuating temperature conditions.
Product Production Process:
The production process involves mining and refining bauxite ore to remove impurities, followed by calcination at high temperatures. The calcined material is then crushed, graded, and packaged according to specific requirements for different applications.

5, magnesia and bauxite clinker as raw material, adding proper binder, used for pouring ladle whole ladle lining has particularly good effects.
6, manufacture alumina cement, abrasive materials, ceramic industry and the various compounds can be aluminum.
