5、The tensile strength of wet fiber felt is higher than that of dry method.
At present, there are more wet methods used, because wet refractory fiber mats impregnated with binders have better wind erosion resistance than dry methods. Moreover, plate shaped materials can be cut or cut at the corners of the furnace lining or complex furnace shapes.
