When refractory ceramic fiber is used for layered lining construction, whether it is blanket, felt or board, the following regulations must be followed:

1. The center distance of the anchor nails installed on the furnace roof should be 200mm~250mm, and the center distance of the anchor nails installed on the furnace wall should be 250mm~300mm. The distance between the anchor nail and the edge of the refractories ceramic fiber blanket, blanket or board on the heating surface should be 50mm~75mm, and the maximum distance should not exceed 100mm.
2. The anchor nails should be welded vertically on the steel plate and hammered one by one for inspection. When using ceramic cups or turn-card washers to fix refractories ceramic fiber blankets, felts or boards, the cross-section arrangement direction of the anchor nails should be consistent.
3. Refractory ceramic fiber blankets, felts or boards should be laid tightly and close to the furnace shell. Tighten the anchors with appropriate tightness.
4. The laying of refractory ceramic fibre blankets, felts or boards should reduce the joints, and the staggered joints between each layer should not be less than 100mm. The refractory ceramic fibre blankets, felts or boards of the heat insulation layer can be connected with seams. When the heated surface layer is a refractory ceramic fibre blanket, felt or board, the joints should be overlapped, and the overlap length should be 100mm. The overlap direction should be in the direction of the airflow and not in the reverse direction.
5. Refractory ceramic fiber blankets and felts should have compression margins at the joints. Note: When refractories ceramic fiber felts are used, the compression amount is not less than 5mm; when refractories ceramic fiber blankets are used, the compression amount is not less than 10mm.
6. Refractory ceramic fibre blankets, felts or boards should be cut according to the actual position and size of the holes and anchor nails on the furnace shell, and the cut should be slightly smaller than the actual size.
7. When the end of the anchor nail is fixed with a ceramic cup, the opening on the ceramic fiber blanket, felt or board should be slightly smaller than the outer size of the ceramic cup. The screw-in depth of each ceramic cup should be equal and should be checked one by one. The cup should be tightly packed with refractory filler of the same material as the hot surface.
8. When laying the refractory ceramic fiber blanket, felt or board on the furnace roof, use quick clamps to fix the layers.
9. At the corners of the furnace wall or where the furnace wall is connected to the furnace roof and furnace bottom, the ceramic fiber blanket, felt or board should be staggered and no internal and external seams should be allowed. There should be no straight seams at the connection between the ceramic fiber blanket, felt or board and other refractory furnace linings.
10. Protective measures should be taken for metal anchor nails, washers, etc. When covering with refractory paint, it should be applied tightly; when covering with ceramic fiber blocks, it should be firmly pasted.
