These bricks have low density and high porosity, which allows them to block the conduction of heat and ensure the stability of the internal temperature of the equipment.
When choosing lightweight bricks for high-temperature industrial kilns, different lightweight bricks should be selected according to the temperature resistance.
The temperature resistance of lightweight refractory bricks depends on factors such as their specific composition, density and manufacturing process. Generally speaking, lightweight refractory bricks usually exhibit better fire resistance at moderate to high temperatures, but the specific temperature resistance range may vary from product to product.

Conventional lightweight insulation bricks are usually able to withstand temperatures up to around 1200°C to 1400°C. These refractory bricks are mainly used in medium-temperature sintering situations such as general industrial furnaces and kilns.

High-temperature lightweight refractory bricks can withstand higher temperatures, reaching over 1400°C, and even as high as 1600°C to 1800°C. These refractory bricks are often used in high-temperature processes such as industrial furnaces, glass kilns, and steel smelting that require higher temperatures.

It should be noted that the refractory temperature of lightweight refractory insulation bricks may vary depending on product quality, manufacturing process and specific usage conditions. Refractory bricks may deform or crack due to thermal expansion in high-temperature environments. Therefore, the furnace structure needs to be properly designed to reduce thermal stress and extend the service life of the refractory bricks.
