In Mar. 135 rolls ceramic fiber paper are packed for delivering to customer in Colombia. High quality and nice price thermal insulation materials in Topower Refractory.

Ceramic fiber paper is a unique product series. It is made by forming aluminum silicate fiber in non-woven mold. In manufacturing, the orientation of ceramic fibers is randomly distributed and then fixed with a latex binder system. A special paper making process is controlled by statistical methods to form even, light and flexible sheets.
By mixing different fibers, adhesives and additives, while changing the manufacturing process, it is now possible to produce a variety of ceramic fiber paper products to meet the needs of a variety of applications. Ceramic fiber paper has excellent chemical stability and is resistant to most caustic agents. Even if the paper is wet with water or steam, its heat resistance and physical properties can be fully recovered after drying.
Why does ceramic fiber paper not conduct heat?
1. Fiber radiation heat transfer
The fiber in ceramic fiber paper is not transparent, so heat rays cannot penetrate the fiber, and the fiber is very fine, so it does not receive heat radiation well, so the heat transfer effect is not obvious.
The high temperature resistant paper made of ceramic fibers forms a lot of gaps because of the interweaving of ceramic fibers, and the gaps are filled with air, which destroys the continuous network structure of solid prickly heat, so that the ceramic fiber paper has good heat insulation, heat preservation and sealing ability.
2. Fiber conduction and heat transfer
Because the ceramic fiber interweaving in the paper has no direction, the fiber in all directions, at the same time, the heat is heat transfer along the fiber, and the fiber is rarely perpendicular to the hot surface, in addition, the fiber is overlapping with each other, which increases the thermal resistance of heat conduction. So the heat conduction effect in the fiber paper is not obvious.
3. Convective heat transfer of gas
Because the ceramic fibers overlap with each other, a lot of air compartments are formed inside the ceramic fiber paper. These compartments store a lot of air, so that the air can not flow freely, and is generally relatively static. The heat absorbed by the gas can only be transmitted within the gas in the way of conduction, and because the gas has a small thermal conductivity in the static state, it is impossible for fiber paper to use the gas for heat transfer.
