01. China Ceramic fiber technology

Since 1984, the refractory material factory of Shougang Company introduced the production line of ceramic fiber needle-punched blanket by electrical resistance method from CE company in the United States. By 1987, there were also Henan Shanxian Electric Appliance Factory, Guangdong Gaoming Aluminum Silicate Fiber Factory and Guiyang Refractory Material Factory. The factory introduced 3 ceramic fiber acupuncture blanket production lines and vacuum forming technology with different scales and different fiber-forming methods from BW Company and Ferr0 Company in the United States, which changed the appearance of my country’s ceramic fiber production technology, backward production equipment and single product.

Since 1986, my country has developed and designed 82 different types of resistance method spinning (or blowing) fiber-forming dry acupuncture blanket production lines through the digestion and absorption of the imported ceramic fiber production equipment and technology, combined with national conditions. , installed in 45 enterprises.

02. Ceramic fiber unshaped material

The ceramic fiber castables, plastics, smears and other fibrous amorphous materials developed in parallel with the ceramic fiber spraying technology have not only established domestic production enterprises, but have also been popularized and applied in various industrial kilns, heating devices and high-temperature pipelines.

China current ceramic fiber has been in the stage of continuous adjustment and development. The production process and equipment of ceramic fiber, especially the production process and equipment of dry acupuncture blanket, have the world’s advanced chromium-containing, zirconium-containing aluminum silicate fiberboard, polycrystalline alumina New ceramic fibers and products such as fiber, polycrystalline mullite fiber and mixed fiber products have been successfully developed and put into industrial production, so that fibrous light refractory materials constitute a complete series of products.

The continuous expansion of the application range of ceramic fibers has led to the increasing popularity of the application of high-strength, weather-resistant hard fiber wall linings. At the same time, the development of ceramic fiber production technology has also greatly promoted the development of ceramic fiber application technology and construction methods.

03. The role of ceramic fiber modules

The ceramic fiber module is a new type of refractory lining product launched to simplify and speed up the construction of the kiln and improve the integrity of the lining. The ceramic fiber module is white in color and regular in size, and can be directly fixed on the steel plate anchoring nails of the industrial kiln shell. Improve the classification temperature 1050 ~ 1400 ℃.

The China ceramic fiber module is in a pre-pressed state. After the furnace lining is built, the expansion of the ceramic fiber module makes the furnace lining seamless, and can compensate for the shrinkage of the fiber furnace lining, so as to improve the thermal insulation performance of the fiber furnace lining, and the overall performance is good; excellent thermal stability and Thermal shock resistance; the ceramic fiber modules are installed quickly, and the anchors are set on the cold surface of the wall lining, which can reduce the material requirements of the anchors. It is used for lining insulation of kilns in ceramics, glass and other building materials industries; lining insulation of heat treatment furnaces in heat treatment industry; linings of other industrial kilns.

04. Conclusion

The development, production and application of new varieties of ceramic fibers have greatly promoted the development of application technologies and construction methods of ceramic fibers. Zirconium-containing fiber is a kind of aluminum silicate fiber with wide application and low cost produced by melting method, which can be widely used as the hot-face full-fiber lining of various thermal kilns.
