ROMANIAN CUSTOMER ORDERED 58 TONS JM26 INSULATING FIRE BRICKS.

In Aug. 58 tons Jm26 Insulating Fire Bricks are packed for delivering to our customer in Romania. This passage Topower Refractory will talk out the Alumina content of lightweight mullite bricks(Jm26 Insulating Fire Brick).

The production raw materials of light mullite bricks (Jm26 Insulating Fire Brick) mainly use refractory products with kyanite as the main raw material, because many micropores are formed between the particle skeletons of kyanite in the process of decomposition and expansion. The presence of these pores reduces the erosion resistance of refractory articles that are in direct contact with the melt. Lightweight mullite bricks (Jm26 Insulating Fire Brick) are used for the lining of high-temperature kilns that are not in contact with the melt. They not only require high service temperatures, but also require low thermal conductivity. For general lightweight refractories(Jm26 Insulating Fire Brick), within a certain range, the smaller the pore size, the lower the thermal conductivity. Therefore, the micropores formed by the decomposition and expansion of kyanite are favorable conditions for improving the thermal insulation performance of light mullite bricks (Jm26 Insulating Fire Brick).

The ideal chemical composition of mullite is 3AL2O3 2SiO2, of which AL2O3 accounts for 71.8% and SiO2 accounts for 28.2%. Its melting point is 1910 °C, which is the mineral phase second only to corundum (melting point 2050 °C) in the aluminum silicate system. Therefore, the light mullite brick (Jm26 Insulating Fire Brick) with mullite as the main crystal phase has a high service temperature. If kyanite is completely converted to mullite during decomposition, alumina must be added to the finely ground kyanite powder.

In order to make the light mullite bricks (Jm26 Insulating Fire Brick) have a high enough mullite content and at the same time make the products reach a sufficient degree of sintering within a relatively easy temperature range, the AL2O3 content of the light mullite bricks (Jm26 Insulating Fire Brick) is selected to be 67.1, slightly Low and ideal composition with mullite.

Lightweight mullite refractory bricks (Jm26 Insulating Fire Brick) have the characteristics of high service temperature, low heat capacity, low thermal conductivity, high strength, and good thermal shock resistance. The light mullite brick (Jm26 Insulating Fire Brick) with AL2O3 content of 67.1% synthesized from kyanite and industrial alumina powder is mainly used in various kilns of daily ceramics, architectural ceramics and special industrial ceramics, and various high temperature in the petrochemical industry. Furnaces, various high-grade heating furnaces and large-scale hot blast furnaces in the metallurgical industry are used for direct refractory lining. In these kilns, when the working temperature exceeds the temperature that other lightweight materials (Jm26 Insulating Fire Brick) can withstand (such as refractory fibers), and there are parts where lightweight materials must be used, the various properties of this lightweight refractory brick (Jm26 Insulating Fire Brick) can be fully utilized.
