Topower insulation alumina bubble brick For Sale,Customer In Australia Ordered 18 Tons

Alumina hollow ball brick is widely used in high temperature and ultra-high temperature furnaces such as petrochemical industrial gasifiers, carbon black industrial reaction furnaces, metallurgical industrial induction furnaces, etc., and are effective in reducing the weight of the furnace body, transforming the structure, saving materials, and saving energy. Obvious results have been achieved.

Alumina bubble bricks are made of high-purity alumina hollow balls as the main raw material and sintered at high temperature. The crystal form is a-Al2O3 microcrystals. It has the advantages of low bulk density, high compressive strength, low thermal conductivity, and high operating temperature. It can be widely used in the lining of high-temperature kilns such as synthetic ammonia liquefaction furnaces and ethylene gasification furnaces. It has strong resistance to corrosive gases and slag, and the operating temperature is below 1800℃.

The method of making alumina hollow ball bricks is to add alumina raw materials into a dumping electric furnace to melt into liquid, and then dump the furnace at a certain angle to make the solution flow out of the pouring trough at a corresponding speed, so that the liquid flows through a flat nozzle with an angle of 60° - 90° with the flow, and blows it into alumina hollow balls with a high-speed airflow at a pressure of 0.6 - 0.8MPa, and then mix the alumina hollow balls, sintered alumina fine powder and binder according to a certain proportion, shape, dry and sinter them to make alumina hollow ball bricks.

This brick has excellent high temperature resistance and thermal insulation performance, and can be directly used for the working lining of high temperature kilns. It will achieve significant results in reducing the weight of the furnace, modifying the structure, saving materials, and saving energy. At present, the high temperature resistant materials used in the kiln lining are mostly heavy bricks with a volume density of 2.3-3.0g/cm³, while the alumina bubble bricks are only 1.3-1.5g/cm³. For the same cubic meter volume, the use of hollow alumina ball bricks can reduce the weight by 1.1-1.9 tons. To achieve the same use temperature, if heavy corundum bricks are used, the price is comparable to that of hollow alumina ball bricks, and considerable insulation refractory materials are required. If hollow alumina ball bricks are used, 1.1-1.9 tons of heavy corundum bricks can be saved per cubic meter, and 80% of refractory insulation materials can be saved. Alumina hollow balls have obvious thermal insulation properties and low thermal conductivity. They can achieve good thermal insulation effects, reduce heat dissipation, and improve thermal efficiency, thereby achieving the purpose of energy saving. The energy saving effect can reach more than 30%.

Comparison between alumina bubble bricks and heavy bricks:
In terms of weight, the high-temperature resistant materials used in the lining of kilns are mostly heavy bricks with a volume density of 2.3-3.0g/cm, while alumina hollow ball bricks are only 1.3-1.5g/cm. For the same cubic meter volume, the use of alumina hollow ball bricks can reduce the weight of the kiln body by 1-2 tons. From a cost perspective, the prices of heavy bricks and hollow ball bricks are similar. The price of alumina hollow ball bricks in special areas may be slightly higher than that of heavy bricks, but in terms of weight and thermal insulation performance, alumina hollow ball bricks have obvious advantages. Commonly used refractory bricks such as high alumina bricks, silicon carbide bricks, clay refractory bricks, etc., although their refractoriness exceeds 1700℃, their thermal conductivity is too high and they are not suitable for use as insulation layers. They can only be used as refractory layers. If you want to do heat preservation in the kiln, you need to add multiple layers of insulation materials such as lightweight insulation bricks, aluminum silicate insulation wool, etc. Alumina hollow ball bricks can be used directly as working layers, and can also be used as insulation layers in high temperature areas.
