WHAT ARE THE BRICKLAYING REQUIREMENTS FOR REFRACTORY FIRE BRICKS?

The masonry requirements of refractory fire bricks usually have the following requirements:

1. The arch and the vault must be built symmetrically from the arch feet on both sides to the center at the same time. When building, it is strictly forbidden to turn the big and small ends of the arch bricks upside down; the locking bricks should be hit from the side of the arch. When hitting someone from the side, you can first process 1~2 bricks on one side of the lock so that the upper and lower dimensions of the lock are equal, and then hit the lock brick ( refractory fire bricks) that matches the size of the lock from above, and place the two sides of the block. Tighten with steel plates; the removal of the arch tires can only be carried out after all the lock bricks are tightened, the ditching at the arch foot is completed, and the nuts of the skeleton hook are finally tightened.

2. For the brick joints that are not tight in masonry, thin steel plates should be inserted and plugged, especially for the rotatable kiln, it should be checked every 1/4 turn, and the above measures should be taken to remedy.

3. The position where the expansion joints are set should avoid the stressed parts, the furnace frame and the holes in the masonry. The expansion joints in the inner and outer layers of the masonry should not penetrate each other, and the upper and lower layers should be staggered from each other. (refractory fire brick)

4. The long side of the non-arc furnace bottom and the uppermost layer of the channel bottom should be perpendicular or at an angle to the flow direction of the charge, metal, slag or gas.

5. The circular furnace wall should be built according to the center line. When the center line error and diameter error of the furnace shell meet the requirements of the furnace shape, the furnace shell can be used as the guide surface for masonry.

6. The circular furnace wall shall not have three layers or three rings of heavy seams, and the two layers of the upper and lower layers and the two adjacent rings shall not be in the same place.

Straight bricks (wall, bottom) and radial bricks lined with refractory fire bricks for thermal equipment such as industrial furnaces and kilns (such as annular bricks for blast furnaces, converters and rotary kilns, arched bricks for general industrial furnaces and kilns) In refractory bricks, dome refractory bricks for hot blast stoves and electric furnaces, etc.), straight refractory bricks, wedge-shaped refractory fire bricks, arched refractory bricks and dome refractory bricks are often used. The specifications and dimensions of these refractory bricks cannot be arbitrarily selected.

Industrial furnaces and other thermal equipment lined with straight bricks (walls, bottoms) and radial-shaped bricks In refractory fire bricks, dome-shaped refractory bricks for hot blast stoves and electric furnaces, etc.), straight refractory bricks, wedge-shaped refractory bricks, arched refractory bricks and spherical top refractory bricks are often used. The specifications and dimensions of these refractory fire bricks cannot be arbitrarily selected.

What does the brick seam of refractory bricks mean? That is, the bricks need to be bonded or filled with materials. Generally, high-temperature refractory mud of the same material is used. If it is dry laying, the powder with the same composition as the refractory brick is used. to fill in the cracks.
