What’s wrong with layering of refractory castable?
The layered phenomenon of fire -resistant castable is largely due to the inappropriate ratio of particles.
When the refractory castable is produced, the coarse particles and micro -powder in the process ratio are not good, and the mud of micro -powder is separated from the coarse particles when adding water and mixed pouring.
The layered phenomenon is sometimes not reflected in the laboratory. During the test, the liquidity of the microfan mud is on the surface of the refractory pouring. However, it does not mean that liquidity in actual use, because in actual construction, the amount of water added and the construction temperature is different from the technical and equipment of the construction personnel, but the liquidity measured by the laboratory cannot be used as a basis.
In other words, refractory castable is the application material, and the analysis basis should be based on the actual use operation. It cannot rely entirely on laboratory data as the final evaluation of the product.
In the experimental process, the refractory castable is very easy to control. It is nothing more than the amount of water added, but there will be many factors in the actual application to adjust the control according to the situation at the time. In the experiment, the pouring is generally evaluated to the liquidity of the pouring materials using desktop vibration or circular sleeve experiments. However, the round sleeve will have different results, because the particle ratio and particle size of the refractory castable materials are different. For example, the maximum granules of the iron gap will be as large as 25mm, but the maximum particles of general pouring are 10mm, but it looks like spraying like spraying The maximum particles of coatings and coating are 5mm. Therefore, the test data is sometimes inaccurate. The construction performance of spray coatings and coating is completely different, so the effect of use is also different.
The liquidity of fire -resistant castable is very important. There is no liquidity that cannot be constructed, but the layering is the process of controlling before liquidity. Therefore, the granular ratio is also the top priority in refractory castable production process.
