Abrasion resistance is an important factor in the erosion of fire -resistant bricks. But which kind of refractory fire brick is the most abrasion?
Good abrasion refractory fire bricks are not the higher the strength, but the wear resistance of the internal quality of the brick. The abrasion resistance of different types of refractory bricks is different, and the amount of wear in the actual application is based on the amount of wear. Silicon carbide refractory fire bricks have the strongest wear resistance. The anti -wear resistance of high aluminum refractory bricks and rigid jade fire -resistant bricks is in the middle. The abrasion resistance of alkaline bricks, silicon bricks and fireclay bricks is poor. Due to the difference in alumina content, the wear rate of high aluminum bricks is also different.
According to the usage, aluminum carbide carbon refractory fire bricks containing graphite -containing graphite is large, aluminum carbon bricks with low graphite content or graphite without graphite have less wear. The hardness of silicon carbide and rigida is very high. In principle, the higher the hardness, the stronger the wear resistance. The lower the strength of Mo’s, the lower the wear resistance. Graphite has poor abrasion resistance. This is because of its low hardness and layer shape formed between molecular force.
For example, Mo’s hardness of magnesium bricks, magnesium spinel refractory fire bricks, magnesium chromium bricks, fire clay bricks and silicon bricks is relatively low, and abrasion resistance is reduced. There are also some composite bricks, such as clay bonding silicon carbide bricks, silicon nitride bonding carbon carbon tiles and rigid jade carbide blocks. In contrast, silicon nitride bonding carbonized silicon tiles are more abrasion than rigid jade carbonized silicon tiles. Gang jade carbonized silicon bricks are more abrasion than clay bonding carbon carbon tiles.
The crystal structure and lattice of different mineral phase can cause different mineral hardness. The hardness of the diamond, silicon carbide, and migram of atomic crystals is very high, and the hardness of spinels, mullite and Fang Magnestes of ion crystals decreases in order; the higher the hardness of the mineral, the stronger the wear resistance.
Due to the different aluminum content, high aluminum refractory fire bricks have different wear resistance. High alumina bricks have good wear resistance, while low aluminum bricks have poor wear resistance. Only silicon carbide has less abrasion resistance. Therefore, silicon carbide refractory bricks are the most wear -resistant.
