Cordierite Mullite Brick

The main component of cordierite mullite brick is 3Al2O3·2SiO2, the product has strong acid resistance, good chemical stability, high insulation, high temperature resistance, cold and heat resistance, strong adsorption, high temperature resistance, is a high-quality refractory material. Cordierite-mullite kiln has the advantages of cold and heat resistance, long life and no sudden fracture, no oxidation during use, stable volume, no dirt, no slag, no pollution and so on. It is the most ideal kiln for burning silicate products in industrial kilns below 1300 degrees.

The thermal expansion coefficient of cordierite in the cordierite mullite brick is small, thermal shock resistance and chemical stability is good, but its fire resistance is low, and it will be differentiated at 1470℃, mullite has high fire resistance, thermal expansion coefficient of cordierite and mullite expansion coefficient is large difference, which is beneficial to the thermal shock resistance function of the brick as a whole.
