Magnesia brick uses magnesium oxide or fused magnesia as raw materials and is fired at a high temperature of 1550～1600°C. It is the firing of high purity products. The temperature is above 1750℃. They are corrosion resistant and are widely used in various high temperature furnaces.
Magnesium brick has the advantages of strong alkali corrosion resistance, strong erosion resistance, good thermal stability, high compressive strength, and high load softening temperature.
The refractoriness of magnesia brick can reach more than 2000 ℃, and its load softening temperature varies greatly with the melting point of the cemented phase and the number of liquid phases produced at high temperatures. Generally, the starting temperature of load softening of magnesium bricks is between 1520 and 1600℃, while high-purity magnesium bricks can reach 1800℃
