Magnesia dolomite brick is made of high-purity and dense magnesia and sintered magnesia dolomite sand or dolomite sand as raw materials. According to different use environments, select the appropriate ratio of MgO and CaO, use anhydrous binder, and form at a suitable temperature. , High temperature firing.

Magnesia calcium brick has strong resistance to low iron and low alkalinity refining slag outside the furnace, and are beneficial to desulfurization and dephosphorization to remove impurities in steel, and have the effect of purifying molten steel. Used in cement kilns, magnesium dolomite bricks have a great affinity with cement clinker, are easy to hang on the kiln, and have uniform thickness.

Dolomite refractory materials can be divided into two categories:

(1) Dolomite refractory materials containing free lime are also called unstable or non-water-resistant dolomite refractory materials because their composition contains active CaO that is difficult to sinter and easily absorbs moisture and pulverizes.

(2) Dolomite refractory material without free CaO, its mineral composition is MgO, C3S, C2S, CAF, C2F (or CA). All CaO in the composition is in a combined state and will not be powdered due to hydration, so it is also called stable or water-resistant dolomite refractory material. Stable magnesia dolomite bricks fall into this category. This product can be used to build open hearth furnace walls and furnace bottoms, rotary kilns and shaft kiln firing belts, etc., but is rarely produced at present.

Products productive process

 

Magnesia dolomite brick production process involves a careful blending of magnesia and dolomite, shaping the mixture into the desired form, and subjecting it to controlled firing.

1.Raw material quality control including physical and chemical testing.           
2.Crushing and grinding of bulk raw materials.
3. According to customer data sheet required to mixing Raw Material.
Pressing or shaping the green brick depend on different raw material and brick shape.
4.Dry the bricks at dryer kiln.
5.Put the bricks into the tunnel kiln to burning by higher temp from 1300-1800 deg.
6.The quality control department will inspect the finished refractory bricks random.
