Products Description
Lightweight mullite insulation bricks are high-alumina refractory materials with mullite (3A10·2Si0:) as the main crystal phase. The general alumina content is between 65% and 75%. In addition to mullite, the mineral composition also contains a small amount of glass phase and quartz with a lower alumina content; and a small amount of corundum with a higher alumina content.
Mullite insulating bricks are made of high-quality high-purity refractory powder, according to the required specific gravity of the product, adding organic composite fillers, vacuum extrusion molding, high-temperature sintering and fine processing to produce lightweight mullite products.The aluminum content is between 50-80%.
The product is white spherical hole shape, and its density is divided into 0.6,0.8,1.0,1.2,1.5,1.7,and several grades. The service temperature is 1260℃~1700℃. The product has high strength, good heat preservation effect and high working temperature. It is mainly used as lining masonry for high temperature kiln.

1. Different Al2O3 content
The alumina content of lightweight mullite insulating bricks is 38-44%, 50-58%, 65-70%, and 70-73%, respectively. The higher the grade, the higher the alumina content, which affects the insulation performance and refractoriness.
2. Different refractoriness
The refractoriness of the four grades of lightweight mullite bricks is 1350℃, 1430℃, 1540℃, and 1600℃, respectively. The higher the grade, the higher the refractoriness. This is also the case with the increase of alumina content, the refractoriness also increases, and the stability of lightweight mullite insulation bricks in high temperature environments is better.
3. Different volume density
The volume density of JM23 is 0.6g/cm3, the volume density of JM26 and JM28 is the same at 0.8g/cm3, and the volume density of JM30 is 1g/cm3;
4. Different compressive strength at room temperature
The compressive strength of lightweight mullite bricks are 1.3Mpa, 2Mpa, 3Mpa and 3.5Mpa respectively. The higher the compressive strength at room temperature, the greater the load-bearing capacity and service life of the bricks.
