Topower mullite Insulation brick For Sale, Customer In South Africa Ordered 20tons
Topower Insulation mullite firebrick is a kind of quality refractory insulation materials for resisting high temperature with features of light weight, low thermal conductivity, thermal insulation and high compression strength in the high temperature furnaces or kilns.

Production process of mullite insulation bricks
Insulation Mullite bricks are a type of insulation bricks. They are high-aluminum refractory materials with mullite (3Al₂O₃・2SiO₂) as the main crystal phase. The general alumina content is between 65% and 75%, among which JM23 has a high cost performance. This brick is widely used in various industrial fields due to its excellent high temperature resistance, good thermal shock resistance, low thermal conductivity and good chemical stability, especially in high-temperature furnaces in the steel, glass, ceramics and other industries. Among them, JM23 has a high cost performance and is widely used.
As a high-quality high alumina refractory, the production of mullite insulation refractory brick adopts good quality and pure raw materials, of which alumina accounts for 42% – 72%. Among them, those with lower alumina content also contain glass phase and cristobalite, and those with higher alumina content also contain corundum which is premium grade fillings. Mullite insulating brick has high refractoriness, which can reach above 1790℃ (3254℉). The initial temperature of load softening is 1600-1700℃ (2912-3092℉), and the compressive strength at room temperature is 70-260MPa. Main compositions of mullite insulating brick are mixing mullite and bauxite with a small amount of clay.
According to a series of production processes, topower mullite insulation bricks are through scientific testing to ensure good quality.
Its main features and advantages include:
Good thermal insulation effect: It has low thermal conductivity characteristics and can effectively reduce heat loss.
Obvious energy-saving effect: Low hot melt and low thermal conductivity enable it to accumulate very little heat energy in intermittent operation.
Low impurity content: The content of oxides such as iron and alkali metals is very low, so the refractoriness is high, and the high aluminum content enables it to maintain good performance in a reducing atmosphere.
High high temperature compressive strength: ensures the strength and stability of the masonry.
Mullite insulation firebricks are usually white and can directly contact the flame. They are mainly used for the lining and insulation layer of industrial furnaces such as the top of hot blast furnace, blast furnace body and bottom, glass melting furnace regenerator, ceramic sintering kiln, and dead corner lining of petroleum cracking system.
