Corundum Mullite Brick

Corundum mullite brick has a low thermal conductivity, strong hanging kiln skin, high temperature strength, corrosion resistance, thermal shock stability, and good softening temperature under load.high refractoriness, at least 1790 °C. Under load, softening begins at a temperature between 1600 and 1700 °C. At normal temperature, the compressive strength is 70–260 MPa. good tolerance to thermal shock.

The high temperature performance of Corundum mullite brick is mainly determined by the alumina content and the homogeneity of the mullite phase and glass distribution. Mainly used for hot blast stove top, blast furnace shaft and bottom, glass melting furnace regenerator, ceramic sintering kiln, dead angle lining of petroleum cracking system, etc.

1.Raw material quality control including physical and chemical testing.           
2.Crushing and grinding of bulk raw materials.
3. According to customer data sheet required to mixing Raw Material.
Pressing or shaping the green brick depend on different raw material and brick shape.
4.Dry the bricks at dryer kiln.
5.Put the bricks into the tunnel kiln to burning by higher temp from 1300-1800 deg.
6.The quality control department will inspect the finished corundum mullite brick random.
