It is made by mixing natural bauxite or industrial alumina with calcium carbonate (limestone) in a certain proportion and calcining or electric melting. It can also be made by melting ferrous bauxite and limestone.

Products Description

 

High-purity calcium aluminate cement minimizes impurities such as silica and iron oxide and has high stability. It is mainly used for traditional castables working at 1800°C. It has strong durability, good fire resistance and construction performance, and excellent heat burst resistance.

 

It can be divided into two types according to its chemical composition: ordinary calcium-aluminate cement (Al2O3 53~72%, CaO 21~35%) and pure calcium aluminate castable cement (Al2O3 72~82%, CaO 19~23%) . Ordinary calcium aluminate cement can be divided into two types: low iron type (Fe2O3<2%) and high iron type (Fe2O37~16%). Low iron calcium-aluminate cements can be divided into alumina cement (Al2O353~56 %, CaO 33~35%), aluminum-60 cement (Al2O3 59%~61%, CaO 27~31%) and low aluminate cement (Al2O3 65~70%, CaO 21~24%). Pure calcium-aluminate cement can be divided into two types: ordinary type (Al2O3 72~78%) and ultra-high aluminum type (Al2O3 78~85%). In addition, there is quick-hardening and early-strength calcium-aluminate cement.

Products Features

 

High-purity calcium aluminate cement minimizes impurities such as silica and iron oxide and has high stability. It is mainly used for traditional castables working at 1800°C. It has strong durability, good fire resistance and construction performance, and excellent heat burst resistance.

 

High-grade calcium aluminate castables cement with an alumina content of approximately 80% and high-performance additives. The amount of water added is very small, but it shows high fluidity, high strength and excellent construction performance. Stable chemical composition and mechanical properties help install machines and improve construction performance. Mainly used for high temperature refractory castables, such as ladles.

It  is used in rotary kilns and has excellent construction performance and high strength. At the same time, its normal temperature flexural strength and high temperature flexural strength are higher than other calcium aluminate castable cements. Because it is rich in calcium monoaluminate (CA) and calcium disaluminate (CA2), it is widely used in high-tech refractory materials, such as low cement castables and ultra-low cement castables.

Calcium aluminate cement with an alumina content of approximately 71% is designed to provide durable mechanical properties, excellent maneuverability, and stable construction time under high and low temperatures. It does not contain organic additives, so it is suitable for ultra-low cement castables and low-water castables, and has good construction performance.
