Special Fireclay Bricks

Special fireclay bricks use higher quality chamotte and mullite as the main raw material,increasing the content of mullite to reduce iron content; And higher tonnage presses are used to improve particle composition. It has the characteristics of low porosity and low iron content to better resist the erosion of impurities and achieve better high-temperature performance.

1. Raw material preparation
The raw materials required for making special fireclay bricks mainly include clay, quartz sand with moderate particle size, and additives. The clay must be screened and mixed with water to reach a certain viscosity.
2. Forming
Choose a suitable molding machine to mold the clay. Pay attention to the pressure and process flow during the molding process to ensure the uniformity and stability of the molded body.
3. Bake
The shaped clay body needs to be calcined in an oven. The temperature is increased and a certain ventilation flow is maintained, so that the moisture and organic matter inside the calcined body are completely evaporated, thereby forming a solid and non-deformable appearance of the clay brick.
4. Packaging
Mature clay bricks need to be classified and packaged, packaged and marked according to different specifications and standards.
