Description

Mullite bricks, made from synthetic fused mullite and sintered mullite, are formed by hand and fired in high-temperature furnaces. Mullite Bricks are made with mullite as the main raw material and are fired at high temperatures. It has a higher refractoriness up to 1790°C, and its apparent initial softening temperature is 16001700°C. It has a cold crushing strength of 70260MPa. It is thermally shock resistant.

Features

Mullite Bricks have a low thermal expansivity, a high thermal conductivity, a high thermal shock resistance, and a high high-temperature strength. They can withstand high temperatures for an extended period of time without softening. They can withstand acid erosion, but they cannot function in an oxidizing environment.
