Products Description
Anti skinning castables are mostly used between the carbon bricks on the side walls of aluminum electrolytic cells and the thermal insulation layer. They can prevent the penetration of substances such as Na and NaF and also protect the thermal insulation layer. Anti-seepage castable has the characteristics of high strength, low thermal conductivity, and strong anti-penetration ability to prevent the penetration and erosion of aluminum liquid and electrolyte.
Anti-skinning castable is currently a very widely used castable in aluminum melting furnaces. The main reason is that the aluminum solution has very strong permeability and activity. If an anti-seepage layer is not added, it will be very easy to The castable penetrates and damages the working layer and insulation bricks, thus affecting the service life of the furnace.
