Fused magnesite is a general term for products of magnesia raw materials such as magnesia ore that have been sintered by high-temperature treatment. Fused magnesia is formed by using high-temperature equipment such as vertical kilns and rotary kilns to calcine once or in two steps, and smelting magnesia ore and other raw materials in an electric arc furnace to reach a molten state and cooling.

Products Application
Fused magnesite is mainly used to make various magnesia bricks, magnesia aluminum bricks, ramming materials, furnace filling materials, etc. Those containing more impurities are used to pave the bottom of steelmaking furnaces, etc.
