White Fused Alumina

WFA white fused alumina main crystal phase a-Al203 is white crystal corundum,with high bulk density,low porosity and other advantages,thus,improving the bulk stability and thermal shock resistance of the material.It is widely used in the production of high-grade refractory materials,and can also be used in the production of grinding tools,suitable for cutting,polishing,processing of common steel,alloy steel,and high-speed steel,etc.

High purity: The aluminum oxide content of white fused alumina is usually above 99%, with extremely high purity and extremely low impurity content.
High hardness: Its Mohs hardness can reach 9, second only to diamond, with extremely high hardness and wear resistance.
High refractoriness: The melting point is above 2050°C, with excellent high temperature resistance.
Good chemical stability: Fused white corundum does not react with acids and alkalis at high temperatures and has good chemical stability.
High mechanical strength: It has high mechanical strength and compressive strength and can remain stable at high temperatures.

1:Raw material preparation: High-purity aluminum oxide powder is used as raw material.
2:Melting: The aluminum oxide powder is melted at high temperature in an electric arc furnace, and the temperature is usually above 2000°C.
3: and crystallization: The molten liquid alumina is cooled and crystallized to form fused white corundum blocks.
4:Crushing and screening: The crystallized white corundum blocks are crushed and screened to obtain fused white corundum particles of different particle sizes.
