Product Introduction
Products Description

corundum-mullite castables

1. Raw materials of corundum mullite castables:
1. Corundum particles: High-purity corundum particles with a size of 0.5-5 mm are usually used.
2. Mullite particles: Choose high-quality mullite particles with suitable particle size.
3. Binder: Commonly used binders include Calcium Aluminate Cement (CAC) or other cement-free binders, with a low content, usually between 1-3%.
4. Additives: Additives can include plasticizers, reinforcing agents, anti-release agents, etc., used to improve the fluidity, crack resistance and comprehensive performance of castables.

Corundum mullite castable is made of brown corundum and mullite aggregate as the main ingredients, white corundum powder, a-A1203 micro powder and mullite powder as fine powder, using micro powder technology, combined with cement and adding additives An unshaped refractory castable.

Products Production Process

1. Mix dry powder: fully mix corundum particles and mullite particles to ensure uniform distribution of particles.

2. Add binder: Gradually add binder during the stirring process, and continue stirring to make it evenly dispersed in the powder.

3. Add additives: Gradually add the required additives as needed, and ensure they are evenly dispersed during the stirring process.

4. Mixing and humidification: Slowly add water to the mixture and stir appropriately to achieve appropriate fluidity and working performance of the mixture. Pay attention to controlling the amount of water to avoid excessive moisture affecting the performance of the material.

5. Pouring and curing: Pour the mixed castable quickly to the predetermined position, and use vibration or vibration equipment to eliminate air bubbles and gaps. Afterwards, appropriate curing and drying procedures are carried out according to the specific material requirements to ensure the best performance of Corundum mullite castable.

Products Application

1. Corundum mullite castable has extremely high refractoriness and can withstand extreme temperatures in high-temperature environments. They are often used in equipment such as high-temperature furnaces, high-temperature storage tanks, and copper alloy smelting furnaces.

2. Corundum-mullite castable has good resistance to corrosive media such as acid, alkali and salt. In the chemical and metallurgical industries, they are often used in devices that handle corrosive gases and liquids, such as pickling tanks and furnace linings.

3. Corundum-mullite castable has excellent thermal shock stability, can withstand the thermal stress caused by rapid temperature changes, and is not prone to cracking and damage. In the high-temperature metallurgy and glass industries, they are commonly used for lining equipment such as glass kilns, blast furnaces and smelting furnaces.

4. Corundum-mullite castable has good wear resistance and has certain resistance to mechanical wear and the impact of granular materials. In industries such as metallurgy, cement and coal, they are often used as lining materials for equipment such as steel flow systems, rotary kilns and coal gasifiers.

5. Corundum-mullite castable has a low thermal conductivity and can effectively insulate and maintain heat. In high-temperature smelting and heating equipment, the use of corundum-mullite castables can reduce energy loss and temperature fluctuations and improve the energy efficiency of the equipment.
